Primitive Methodist Church, The Grimsby Road, Beaconthorpe, Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England

Notes:
A Grade 2 listed building built in 1914, Beaconthorpe Methodist is unique in several ways. On one side is the original chapel dating from the 1880's, and on another an attractive set of school rooms built in 1932. The impressive church steeple once had a six-foot finaial and lightening conductor. The fine tracery stone windows have attractive delicate stained glass, and the main impression of the interior is given by the seasoned Canadian maple wood of the pews and pulpit, which produce a magnificent amber glow. The church has a balanced look with its two vestries and two mini-chancels, and a fine organ designed and fitted by Cousans of Lincoln
