WELCOME
This site was originally constructed by Richard Collinson who we lost in 2010. The site is now being looked after by various of his relatives. Here's his welcome message: Welcome to "Past & Present Company" a genealogical history of my, and my cousin's, forebears. If you are new to the site then you are welcome to have a look at Surnames and search for your own family members - if you do find any then please let us know as we would very much like to hear from unknown family members or people researching the same names.
It is our policy to protect the privacy of living individuals and you will not find details of living individuals here. They will have their names marked as "Living" and their details suppressed. Nor will you be able to see documents or photographs which relate to living individuals. FAMILY MEMBERS may request a User Account which will enable them to see the names of living individuals within the tree. This is granted on a case-by-case basis, so please, register for an User Account but if and when you do, it is most important you let us know your family connection.
